The Car Seat Control Yoke is a fun project for younger kids, although I have seen a few early teens play with them when no one was looking. Designed to be used in a car seat or booster, the yoke can help kids imagine flying off to distant places as the scenery passes by. An adult can add to the experience by filling the role of air traffic controller, communicating with the car seat pilot. Using walkie-talkies with head sets, or cell phones with earpieces, is a fun way to add realistic radio sound to the experience.
