Sonic Action Figure Parachute

The Sonic Action Figure Parachute is a fun project for all ages. The elastic parachute harness can be fitted to most 4? action figures. This unique parachute design employs vents for stability and requires only four shroud lines for fewer tangles. If tangling does happen, simply disconnect the shroud lines, untangle and reattach quickly. You can throw the parachute from the ground, or an elevated surface like a deck or hill for longer flights. Sonic Water Blast Rocket
The Sonic Water Blast Rocket is a great project for kids of all ages. This water rocket flies indefinitely, balancing on a stream of water from your garden hose. The throttle allows young astronauts to make controlled flights for lift-off, hover at different altitudes up to 15 feet (4.5 meters), then slowly return to the launchpad. Sonic Boom Carbide Cannon
The Sonic Boom Carbide Cannon is a Super Sonic Expert Level Project, appealing to kids of all ages but requiring more skill and time to build than other SonicDad projects. This cannon is designed for noise making, and is powered by non-flammable Calcium Carbide powder. When a small, measured amount of carbide reacts with water inside the cannon, acetylene gas is formed. When the igniter button on the cannon is pressed, the combustible gas ignites producing a loud Sonic Boom!     read more
Rattlesnake Eggs Prank

The classic Rattlesnake Eggs prank has been redesigned, SoniDad style! These instruction include printable graphics for the prank envelope with three different creepy critter eggs: Classic Rattlesnake Eggs, Tarantula Eggs, and Scorpion Eggs. Just wind the washer, carefully slide the frame into the envelope, close the flap, and your prank is armed and ready. The Sonic DC Motor is a Super Sonic Expert Level Project, appealing to kids of all ages but requiring more skill and time to build than other SonicDad projects. Sonic Balance Mobile
The Sonic Balance Mobile is a great project for kids ages 3 and up. This can be built using just about any small die-cast aircraft. Once the balance is set the aircraft will spin for many revolutions with a single gentle push.     read more
Sonic Parachute Ball
The Sonic Parachute Ball is a fun project for kids ages 3 and up, although kids under 10 will need an adult to launch it. Pack the parachute, load it into the ball, then use the tether to launch up to 50 feet. As the ball climbs it opens allowing the drogue parachute to deploy the main chute. With the chute deployed, the ball makes a gentle descent to the ground.     read more

Sonic Paper Airplane Launcher
The Sonic Paper Airplane Launcher is a great project for kids 5 to 99. This launcher is a bit more challenging than the average SonicDad project, but still fun to build. The launcher is operated by loading a paper airplane on the guides and giving it a gentile push forward with your hand until the friction wheels grab the plane and launch it at very high speed.     read more

Micro Stomp Rocket
The Micro Stomp Rocket is similar to project #12, but with a smaller and simpler base, and smaller rockets. Don't let the small size fool you - this little stomp rocket can reach heights of 35 to 40 feet. With its soft tip and light-weight design, this rocket can be launched indoors,but also flies great outside. The launcher features an adjustable launch tube with an angle gauge that allows young rocketeers to dial in the perfect angle for hitting a target. The Sonic Syclon is a fun and unique project for ages four and up. The Syclone is designed to spin very fast on hard surfaces such as wood, tile, concrete, and even tight-nap carpet. Sonic Black Hole Coin Piggy Bank
The Sonic Black Hole Coin Bank is a great project for boys and girls age four and up. This bank is a fun project to build and an entertaining way for kids to save money. The bank is operated by loading a coin on the coin guide and giving it a quick push with your finger. Just like the large coin funnels you might see in a mall, the coin spins around inside the funnel picking up speed as it spirals down, eventually dropping into the bank below.     read more

The Tinker Bell Mobile is a fun project for all ages of Tinker Bell fans, and is designed to hang from the ceiling in a child's bedroom. The modified battery powered fan quietly rotates the Tinker Bell figure around in a large circle. The Mobile will operate for several hours on one AA battery. The Boomerang Can project is fun for ages about three and up. Roll the Boomerang Can away from you, and it will come right back. A weight attached to a rubber band, winds the rubber band as the can rolls, then the rubber unwinds causing it to roll back to you.     read more

Masking Tape Airport
The Masking Tape Airport is a great project for ages up to about 12 years old. Three different airport layouts, and graphics for runway markings and building are included in these instructions. Made from painters masking tape, the airport is easily removed when desired. Note: do not leave the airport on carpet for more than a week or so, as removal becomes more difficult with time. The only thing better than an imagination powered flight with a die cast airplane, is adding a control stick. This project is suitable for pilots ages 3 and up.
